Biscayne Bay Waterkeeper partners with organizations that support the Bay.
Here are  some examples of successful efforts which range from joint comment letters, speaking engagements, community outreach projects and advocacy initiatives:
- Big Blue and You – teamed up with Big Blue and You where students making short films (it’s like a production camp) made a film about the work of BBWK.
- Fish & Wildlife Service + Florida Sea Grant – Crab Trap Clean Up
BBWK staff and volunteers aided in biannual clean up and removal of illegal crab traps and trash by boat.
- Biscayne Nature Center: Located on beautiful Key Biscayne, BBWK worked with BNC to host the SPLASH Miami event. This unique education center in honor of Marjory Stoneman Douglas provides countless children exposure to the treasures of Biscayne Bay and Miami’s natural resources.
- Biscayne Bay Aquatic Preserve:  Awarded a National Geographic Education Grant, BBWK partnered with BBAP created the “Paddle Out” guide. A copy is available on our website under the Paddle Out tab.
Tropical Audubon Society  – Partnered with Tropical Audubon on legal challenge to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s draft permit to “deep dredge” the Port of Miami in an effort to ensure greater protections afforded to Biscayne Bay as well as increased mitigation for this massive construction project.
Sierra Club of Miami - BBWK and Sierra Club are often co-signatories, as well as many other organizations, on comment letters addressing community concerns regarding water quality.
- Other partners include: Urban Environment League, Urban Paradise Guide, Virginia Key Beach Park Trust, Surfrider Foundation Miami Chapter, Izaak Walton League , Key Biscayne Community Foundation
- Attended Waterkeeper Alliance Conference 2011, 2012 & RIver Rally 2012, Everglades Coalition Conference 2012
